Cannoli are Italian pastries consisting of tube-shaped shells of fried pastry dough, filled with a mild sweet creamy filling containing mascarpone cheese and cream cheese, lemon curd as a core filling, coated with dried apricot and lemon zest. It's a staple dessert of Sicilian cuisine. They are commonly known as cannoli siciliani.
